BROOKLYN BROWNSTONE
Pierrepont Place is a historic brownstone in Brooklyn Heights. The client wanted to merge their current space with the neighboring apartment, expanding and remodeling the entire second floor. In order to blend these two spaces while preserving the building’s integrity, original techniques were mimicked. Motifs were pulled from molding details to repair and recreate plaster moldings. Material were chosen for their authenticity when replacing newer parquet floors for quarter sawn oak floors and walnut inlay that were found in older areas of the building.
